Schibsted med Årets Bil! Du visste kanskje ikke at Schibsted – Norges største mediekonsern – har valgt sin «Årets Bil». Tro det eller ei – den gikk til Seat Arona. |

 Det er kanskje ikke ukjent at jeg er litt tilbakeholden med begeistring for Årets Diverse Biler. Du vet kanskje at Opel Ampera-e ble valgt til Årets Bil i Norge i år – med overveldende margin? En bil som egentlig ikke finnes, fordi den allerede tidlig det året den ble valgt for, ble et uskyldig offer i en industripolitisk kamp som ikke var vellykket verken for kunder, forhandlere, importør eller marked. At en svensk elbil-utstilling averterte med «Kom og se Opel Ampera-e for første og siste gang», forteller jo også litt om den virkelige situasjonen til årets Årets Bil. Du visste vel heller ikke at Schibsted har presentert Seat Arona som sin Årets Bil? Nå skal det tilføyes at det verken var Aftenposten eller VG som sto for den bragden at de utnevnte en bil Norge ennå ikke har sett, som Årets. Det var Schibsted Spain, som er store på nettet, som gjennomførte denne øvelsen. Spesielt deres mc- og bilrelaterte salgs-sider. Derfor er dette egentlig komplett uten interesse, bortsett fra at jeg oppdaget det i en av de lange, utrolig gørrkjedelige, listene som pleier å dukke opp på denne tiden av året. Av en eller annen grunn er bilfabrikkene så opptatt av å ha mottatt Smartprisen for 2017, eller noe som heter Fleets Award 2017 fra noen som heter AEGFA, at de syns de må fortelle resten av verden det. Dermed lister de opp rubb og rake av heder de har mottatt i det utgående året, og regner med at vi skal være overveldet. Overveldet av hvor pompøs det går an å bli, ja. (saken fortsetter) Jeg liker Seat, men vissheten om at Arona er blitt utnevnt til ‘Best Car of the Canary Islands 2018’ av Association of Las Palmas and Tenerife Sports Press kommer ikke til å øke begeistringen. Jeg kommer heller ikke til å bruke mye tid på å finne ut hva ‘New Economy Award Best Parking Solutions 2017’ egentlig er.
